tvpn

Acceptable Use

Use tvpn safely and lawfully

Your endpoint is for ordinary personal VPN use. These rules protect you, other people, online services, and the networks that make tvpn possible.

Last updated: 2026-07-17

What the service is for

You may use tvpn for ordinary personal activity such as using public Wi-Fi more safely, connecting while traveling, browsing, accessing your accounts, and carrying traffic from your own devices.

Security testing is allowed only on systems you own or have explicit permission to test, and only when it does not put tvpn, its networks, or other people at risk.

Do not attack systems or accounts

  • Do not scan, probe, or test systems without the owner's explicit permission.
  • Do not exploit vulnerabilities, disrupt services, overwhelm networks, or interfere with the security or availability of another system.
  • Do not steal or guess credentials, take over accounts, impersonate others, phish, commit fraud, or help someone else do so.
  • Do not distribute malware, operate botnets or command-and-control systems, or use an endpoint to compromise devices.

Do not harm people or violate their rights

  • Do not use the service for illegal or fraudulent activity, harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing, or deliberate harm.
  • Do not create, seek, distribute, or promote content that sexually exploits children, encourages terrorism or serious violence, or is otherwise illegal.
  • Do not infringe copyrights or other legal rights, or use tvpn to evade sanctions, court orders, or lawful safety restrictions.

Do not send spam

Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, operate an open mail relay, or use tvpn to bypass email providers' spam protections.

Direct outbound email delivery on TCP port 25 is blocked. Use your email provider's authenticated submission service instead, usually on port 587 or 465.

A blocked attempt may come from a mail-app mistake, a development tool, a compromised device, or deliberate misuse. We may notify you so you can investigate before the problem grows.

Keep your endpoint personal

Do not resell your endpoint, publish access credentials, operate it as a public proxy, or automate access for unrelated third parties.

Do not use tvpn to evade a service ban or other restriction that was applied for safety, security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

If we detect a problem

We may block the affected traffic, notify you, limit risky actions, pause an endpoint, or suspend an account while we investigate. We may also work with infrastructure providers or public authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required.

One isolated event does not automatically mean that you acted maliciously. We consider context, repetition, volume, attempts to evade safeguards, signs of a compromised device, and your willingness to fix the problem. Serious or confirmed harmful activity may require immediate suspension.

If you think a device or connection profile has been compromised, disconnect it, refresh or pause the endpoint, and contact Support.
